COX presents Project Convey Tech Innovation
We don’t just communicate with words. We communicate with our facial expressions. Our body language, even our tone.
Unfortunately, people on the spectrum have a tough time reading these social cues, making meaningful conversations hard to come by, especially on video chat. But after diving down one too many rabbit holes we discovered research that shows emojis are much easier for them to understand how people are feeling.
6 months and a million headaches later, we launched Project Convey. A video chat prototype that conveys how other people are feeling by using AI to translate emotions into emojis, in real time. Designed for people on the spectrum, with people on the spectrum.
After our initial launch Cox Cable plans on releasing the initiative nationwide.
Here’s to more meaningful connections, and deeper conversations.
